How to Make Faceless YouTube Channels With AI: Steps, Tools and Tips for 2025

Starting a faceless YouTube channel with AI is a smart way to grow your audience and make money, especially if you don’t have a team or a big budget.

For example, Sanskrit Legends channel earned up to $12,000 a month from just 88 AI-generated videos in a year.

This is impressive since it usually takes regular YouTubers 2-4 years to reach 1,000 subscribers and start earning.

However, many don’t know how to use AI to make engaging, viral videos.

If you publish low-quality clips, YouTube won’t allow you to make money, no matter how fast AI creates them. You need to create high-quality videos with AI that grab attention.

With 10 years in marketing and studying thousands of viral AI faceless videos, I found key tips to attract hundreds of thousands or even millions of views.

Keep reading to see how I built a successful faceless YouTube channel using AI in just 2 hours a week!

What is a Faceless YouTube Channel?

A faceless YouTube channel is one where the creator doesn’t show their face and uses AI tools to quickly make high-quality videos.

I used to doubt AI-generated content because it often had dull voices and boring visuals. But now, AI has improved a lot and can create videos that look like they have a human touch.

YouTubers with faceless channels usually earn between $12K and $120K a year, and you don’t need fancy equipment or advanced editing skills.

To ensure AI helps make your faceless YouTube channel successful, focus on these two main factors first:

  • Strategy

If you want to go viral on YouTube, the first thing to know is the algorithm. As MrBeast often says, YouTube’s goal is to keep viewers on the platform for as long as possible.

While YouTube Shorts are great for quick engagement, long-form videos are still favored by the algorithm.

I’m not saying only make long videos, but try to make your Shorts more than just a few seconds.

  • Content Ideas

A successful faceless YouTube channel starts with creating content people actually want.

When I first began brainstorming YouTube faceless channel ideas, I focused too much on perfecting transitions, music, and visuals without checking if my idea was in demand.

Despite spending 1-2 weeks on each video, no one watched. It’s like being the best McDonald’s cleaner—no matter how well you clean, it won’t bring you more money.

People don’t go there for cleanliness. Once I shifted to making content people were searching for, things finally took off.

I analyzed channels like “The Tapestry of Life,” which creates motivational stories about personal growth.

What attracted people was the use of calming music and trending sounds, like those from Zebracat, giving their videos a high-quality, relatable feel.

Their content appeals to people who are stressed and need to unwind after a long day. Who doesn’t want to relax after dealing with a tough boss or work stress?

The audience for this type of content is huge on YouTube. It doesn’t require any specific skills or knowledge to understand, making it simple for these videos to go viral.

How to Start a Faceless YouTube Channel Using AI

Here are 5 insightful steps you should follow so that you can build a successful faceless YouTube channel.

Step 1: Choose a Niche

Noah Morris, a YouTuber earning six figures monthly with 18 faceless channels, advises picking a niche with high earning potential that will stay in demand for the next 5 to 10 years.

It’s great advice, but I’d add one more thing: choose a niche you love. If it doesn’t align with your passion, you’ll likely give up.

Success won’t come quickly, so staying motivated by doing something you enjoy is key. When you create videos for fun and with a relaxed mindset, you’ll stick with it longer than those only chasing money.

The best way to find high-earning topics on YouTube is to type keywords related to a niche you like into the YouTube search bar.

Then, follow this strategy to find a gap in the market:

  • After typing your keywords, click the "Filters" option. Select "Upload Date" and look for videos that have been uploaded recently and gained many views in a short time. This helps you spot trends as they happen.
  • Focus on new channels with high, consistent views per video (around 200K). A key sign of a promising niche is when a channel has far more views than subscribers. This indicates demand, and the creator is tapping into it. Channels that go viral with just a few videos suggest an unmet need in that niche.
  • Keep searching for similar channels and videos to confirm it's not just a one-time thing.

If you find high demand and low supply, that’s your competitive advantage.

You can also use tools like VidIQ or TubeBuddy to research different keywords. These tools make it super easy by letting you compare multiple channels on one page, saving you tons of time.

I love this method because you can not only compare channels but also save your research, make notes, and grab useful hashtags from other creators.

This is a huge help when you want to see what content ideas are being repeated on YouTube without manually searching.

If you get stuck, you can use ChatGPT to generate ideas. For example, type something like, "Give me 100 ideas for an AI faceless YouTube channel in the make money online niche."

After researching 100 potential topic ideas, I narrowed it down to 10 that I really loved. I chose the niche "Content Creation with AI Tools".

Noah also suggests picking a niche where even the worst videos can still go viral.

This means focusing on topics where there’s high interest, so even simple videos get attention. He also says it’s important to learn from channels that didn’t succeed, not just the ones that did well.

If you only study successful channels, you might miss that some became popular by luck.

By analyzing why certain videos or channels fail, you can figure out what works in your niche.

This helps you replicate successful strategies. Many creators even start secret channels to test different tactics and prove it’s not just luck. You’ll often see videos titled, “I Started a Secret Channel to Prove It’s Not Just Luck!”

Apart from that, Noah also suggests targeting American audiences because the RPM (Revenue Per Mille) is higher there, around $12-$13 per one thousand views.

Step 2: Create Videos Using AI Tools

Creating a faceless video usually involves many steps—scriptwriting, voiceovers, video editing, and adding visuals or animations. That’s a lot of work, but with tools like Zebracat, the whole process is automated.

All you need to do is find your niche, generate content ideas, and tweak the AI-generated video to make it more engaging. Tools like Zebracat allow you to:

  • Generate a script based on your prompts
  • Add voiceovers automatically using AI voices
  • Add transitions between scenes to keep the flow smooth and professional
  • Add music backgrounds to enhance the video’s mood
  • Edit the video with minimal effort by adding effects, transitions, and visuals

With Zebracat, creating videos is super simple, even if you’re not familiar with video editing. All you need to do is describe your video idea in detail—what you want to say, the style you want, and any key elements you want to include. The AI will take care of everything else for you.

This means you can focus on the fun and creative parts—like coming up with ideas and making small changes to the final video.

But wait—Zebracat is great, but not perfect. It’s an AI. Yes, it can write scripts, but the initial script you get won’t be amazing.

You need to spend time crafting a good prompt for the AI.The more detailed and clear your prompt, the better your final video will be.

Start by giving the AI a strong hook to stop viewers from scrolling.

Use hooks like, “Here’s a website that helps you build an app without knowing how to code!” or “This is for the person who has zero time to make video content for their business.” These create curiosity and grab attention.

Next, add a storyline that connects different points throughout the video.

This keeps viewers engaged by making them want to know how everything ties together in the end. It’s similar to watching a movie—you keep watching because you’re invested in finding out what happens.

Your story should have a clear beginning, middle, and end, building curiosity as it progresses.

Another thing to do is add a call-to-action (CTA) at the end of the video. You can ask viewers to “Follow for more!” or “Like for Part Two!”.

These increase engagement and build a connection with your audience.

Here is an example:

“Write a story about a boy who got bullied in school and then got revenge on his bullies later on in life.

He became a very successful entrepreneur with tons of money, a beautiful wife and kids.

20 years later he stumbled across his bullies and got the revenge he always wanted.

Start the video with an engaging hook that makes the viewer wanna watch the entire video.

The story should be told in first person with the boy who got bullied as the narrator.

Add the CTA at the end: Follow for more!”

Now that you have your prompt ready, it’s time to finalize the details in Zebracat:

  • Choose the ratio (16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for TikTok or 1:1 for Instagram)
  • Decide how long your video should be. You can create a short clip or a full-length video depending on your needs.
  • Choose from over 200 languages that Zebracat supports. If you’re targeting an international audience, English is a solid option. You can also select a human-sounding voice that fits your video's tone and style.
  • Turn on the “character consistency” feature to ensure the same character is used throughout the entire video, helping maintain a cohesive feel.
  • Choose music that fits the mood of your video. It can be happy, epic, playful or Suspenseful

Hit “Next Step”.

After a couple of seconds, Zebracat will give you 3 script options to choose from.

You can choose one of those or tweak the script to make it more engaging and viral. As I mentioned earlier, AI tools can’t craft viral scripts yet so you’ll need to fine-tune and tune them a bit.

And just like that, you have a fully edited video—without needing to write, shoot, or edit anything!

Now you’re ready to go viral!!!

 Well... maybe not just yet.

I’m being optimistic here. It’s not that easy.

If everyone could go viral using AI tools, there’d be no money left to make on YouTube.

The video created by Zebracat might not be perfect right away—it can still feel a bit generic. Here’s what you need to do to improve it:

  • Check the visuals: Make sure the images or video clips generated are on point. If they’re not, you can regenerate new ones using a different prompt or upload your own custom images. You can also use other AI tools like DALL·E or Ideogram to create better, more unique visuals.
  • Optimize the voiceover: If the AI-generated voice doesn’t sound quite right, switch to a different premium voice. The voices I personally like to use to spice up my videos are Bill and Adam—but feel free to choose whatever voice fits your content best.

Good. Your video is ready to grab attention and get views!

Step 3: Stay Consistent

Going viral doesn’t happen overnight. Even Mr. Beast says success on YouTube takes time, effort, and hundreds of videos before seeing real results.

The key is to improve something with each video. If someone like MrBeast needed time to succeed, you can’t expect to go viral or become an expert overnight.

Start by posting one or two videos daily and focus on small improvements over time. The more content you produce, the higher your chances of going viral.

If you’re busy with a 9-to-5 job or lack editing skills, Zebracat can create high-quality videos just from text—no scripting, shooting, or editing anything.

Step 4: Optimize for YouTube SEO

To get your videos discovered, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is essential. Here’s how to optimize your faceless videos for better visibility on YouTube:

  1. Title: Use clear, keyword-rich titles. Remember to add keywords naturally in the title, don’t stuff them.
  2. Description: Write a detailed description that includes your main keywords, and don’t forget to add links to other related videos or content.
  3. Tags: Use relevant tags for your videos. These help YouTube understand your content and recommend it to the right audience.

Pro Tip: Use tools like TubeBuddy or VidIQ to find the best-performing keywords and tags for your videos. This will boost your chances of ranking higher in search results and getting more views.

Conclusion

YouTube requires time, patience, and consistency to succeed.

As the second most popular site in the world, mastering it will teach you valuable skills in business, marketing, and sales.

As Noah says, "You won’t become an expert overnight."

He advises choosing a topic that will still be relevant in 5 to 10 years. Dedicate at least 1 hour a day to your channel, and stick with it. Over time, you’ll see results.

I know working daily towards your goals can feel overwhelming, but tools like Zebracat can make it easier and more fun.

Zebracat handles the technical side—editing and video creation—so you can focus on the creative part. This helps you stay consistent and stress-free while growing your channel.
